D.I.Y. Rectifying Guide
When your Acson product is not performing as it should be, here are some of the rectifying tips. If problem persists, kindly contact your dealer immediately.

1. My air conditioning unit is not working.

Is there a power failure? Check if you need to replace the fuse. Is your power plug disconnected? Did you set the delay timer incorrectly?
If the fault persist after the above verifications, contact your installer immediately.

2. The compressor does not work 3 minutes after starting.
This is a protection feature incorporated into the air conditioning unit against frequent starting. Please wait for 3 to 4 minutes.
If the fault persist after waiting for more than 5 minutes, contact your installer immediately.

3. The air flow is too low and not cold.
- Check if air filters are dirty. If so, you may need to wash the air filters, or replace if necessary.
- Check if any doors and windows are opened, cool air may have escaped.
- The air entrance and exit are clogged.
- The temperature setting may be too high, change to a lower temperature setting.

4. The remote control light is dim.
The batteries are low or check if the batteries are inserted correctly and connection is good.

5. There is a bad smell coming from my air conditioning unit.
- This odour can be caused by cigarette smoke particles, perfume, sweat, which has adhered to the coil. Please call your installer for coil cleaning if necessary.
- Check the drain pan if water is contained and not flowing out. If so, the drainage hole may be stucked and is obstructing water flow. Call your installer.

6. There is condensation on the air grille.
Condensation occurs when warm air touches cool surfaces. Condensation on your air conditioning unit may occur due to air humidity after a long-hour operation. The set temperature is too low, increase the temperature and change it to high fan. Also check that all doors and windows are sealed.
