UMP and UMT (B) in Grand Finals of Acson Premier League (APL)

Universiti Malaysia Pahang(UMP) defeated Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Cawangan Mekanikal Kuantan with a score of 3-1 on June 30th. With the win, UMP became the first team to qualify for the grand finals to be held in Kuala Lumpur in October. Acson’s East Coast Assistant Manager , Mr. Lee Wee Pin said futsal was chosen because of its huge following in Pahang as well as the rest of the country. A total of 9 teams took part in this event for Pahang region and the tournament fees are fully paid by Acson.

Universiti Malaysia Terengganu B (UMT B) was the second team to qualify for the finals last night ( 7thJuly, 2009 ) by defeating Nyaman Sentosa B by a score of 8-1. After 2 rounds of competition, UMT B emerged champions in the Terengganu region among 13 teams thus paving their way for the grand finals to be held in Petaling Jaya in October. After the game,UMT B team captain Mohd Hasmizi Mohd said they did not expect to win this tournament and credit must be given to the whole team for the fighting spirit they have shown .Completing the top four positions are Nyaman Sentosa A ( second ), Duyung FC ( third ) and UMT A ( fourth ).

Acson's 25th Anniversary Dinner

Acson’s 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner

On the 21st of March, 2009, Acson Malaysia Sales & Service celebrated its 25th Anniversary at Tai Thong Imperial Palace, Petaling Jaya. The event was graced by more than 250 of our dealers from all over the country as well as a few VIPs to further add glam to the event. The event started at 5.30 when guests began pouring in and they were treated to Hollywood style Motive Board photo taking. A booth was set up for the launching of Wall Mount-J series along with a few other models of Acson air conditioner drainage pump.

By 7 p.m. , guests were all seated in the main hall and shortly afterwards, they were treated to a spectacular drum performance, the 24 season drum.

FAT5 thrilling the crowd

VIPs in attendance, Mr Ho Nyuk Choy, COO of OYL Group, Tan Sri Lim Wee Chai and FOMEDA president ,Dato Koay Ah Meng gave brief speeches before dinner started at 8 p.m.

Guests were thrilled during the course of the dinner by magic shows, face changing performance and also the very talented Acson staffs talents. The Superstars of Acson, Fat 5 drew the loudest cheers of the night when they appeared on stage with bright costumes complete with wigs. (Can you figure out who they are?)

20 Years Consecutive Million Dollar Award to Premierwest

Between performances, Million Dollar awards were given out to dealers for achieving sales exceeding a million ringgit for consecutive years. The longest award was presented to Premierwest for 20 consecutive years being a Million Dollar award recipient.

Mock Cheque Presentation

In support of The United Chinese Schools Committee Association of Malaysia, Acson organized a fund raising campaign with the help of Acson’s valued business partners and was proud to present a mock cheque of RM 100,888 to the association during the end of the night. This sum was achievable thanks to generous contributions from dealers during the built up to this night. At intervals between performances, short auction sessions of Acson Air Conditioners were also held to help to the cause.

Cake Cutting Ceremony

To conclude the night, VIPs were invited on stage for the cake cutting ceremony in celebration of Acson being 25 this year.
