Terms and Conditions for Acson Malaysia 

CNY 2021 Campaign – 新年MooOn, AcsonModeOn

 

 

1. General

1.1   The following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions” or “Agreement”) governs the participation of the CNY 2021 Campaign – 新年MooOn, AcsonModeOn (the "CNY 2021 Campaign" or “Campaign”) that is made available by Acson Malaysia Sales & Service Sdn Bhd (the “Acson Malaysia”, “we”, “our” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions represent the whole agreement and understanding between Acson Malaysia and the individual or entity who participate in our campaign (“participant” or “you”).

1.2   PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. By participating to CNY 2021 Campaign, you are agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement. Acson Malaysia may terminate your participation at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that is in breach of this Agreement, and/or for conduct that Acson Malaysia believes is harmful to its business.

1.3   Acson Malaysia reserves the rights, in its sole discretion, change or modify this Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without notice. Such changes or modifications shall be made effective for all participants upon posting of the modified Agreement to this web address (URL): https://www.acson.com.my/cny-2021-campaign-terms-conditions. You are responsible to periodically read this document to review the then current terms and conditions to which you are bound. 

1.4   Eligibility:

i. The CNY 2021 Campaign is open to the following:

a) All individual customers (end-users) aged 18 and above; and

b) Malaysian citizens and foreign citizens who are residing in Malaysia.

ii. Employees of Acson Malaysia, related companies and affiliates and/or the immediate families of such employees, dealers of Acson Malaysia, sub-contractors or companies or any other party directly related to this CNY 2021 Campaign are not eligible to participate in the campaign.

iii. Acson Malaysia has the sole discretion to exclude any persons from participating in the CNY 2021 Campaign without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason.

 

2. Campaign Period

2.1 The CNY 2021 Campaign start from 9th January 2021 to 20th January 2021.

 

3. Campaign Mechanism

3.1   Participants are required to complete all the following steps for eligibility for participation.

            i. Like Acson Malaysia Facebook page.

           ii. Watch Acson CNY 2021 video: http://bit.ly/AcsonCNY2021

          iii. Answer the product name of each character and tag 3 friends under the comment section.

          iv. Share the campaign post to your timeline and set it as public.

 

 

4. Prize and Warranty

4.1   Prizes: Ten (10) units of Acson Desktop Air Purifier – Model: ADP10A, and 2 sets of Acson limited edition angpau.

4.2   The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-redeemable for cash or other product from Acson Malaysia.

4.3   There will be Ten (10) lucky winners picked during the CNY 2021 Campaign period and each winner is eligible to win only one (1) Acson Desktop Air Purifier and 2 sets of Acson limited edition angpau during the campaign.

4.4   Acson Malaysia provides One (1) year warranty for the Acson Desktop Air Purifier (ADP10A). To claim the warranty, you are required to contact 03-7964 8322/324 to make an appointment and the appointment date is subject to our service team’s availability.

 

5. Winner Announcement and Prizes Delivery

5.1   Acson Malaysia will announce Ten (10) lucky winners on Acson Malaysia Facebook when the campaign is ended.

5.2   The lucky winners will be picked at random, either by means of manual or computerized in any method Acson Malaysia may determine at its absolute discretion.

5.3   All the lucky winners are required to fill in a google form with details personal information before a deadline which will be disclosed later on the campaign post, details submit after the deadline will not be entertained.

5.4   Lucky winners are required to double confirm the personal details before submitting as we will not re-post any return prizes.

5.5   Under normal circumstances, Acson Malaysia will courier deliver the prizes within 21 days after the submission deadline. We will not be liable for any loss for lost, damaged, dented, failure or delayed delivery caused by matters or circumstances outside and/or beyond the control and/or power of Acson Malaysia.

 

6. Personal Information

6.1   This CNY 2021 campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Acson Malaysia and not to Facebook. Please refer to the Facebook privacy policy and the terms and conditions, which bind the members and users of Facebook.

6.2   By participating in the campaign, participants are acknowledgeable and agreeable to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of the personal information (including but not limited to name, NRIC number, telephone number and address) in order to process and contact the participant regarding the campaign entry and for the purpose set out herein.

6.3   The information may be utilized in the following manners :

a)  Details which consist of personal data provided by participants may be used by Acson Malaysia for the following purposes:

                  i. The operations and process in this campaign;

                 ii. The redemption of the prize;

                iii. Updating our records about the participant;

                iv. Market research and statistical analysis and surveys with the aim of improving Acson Malaysia products and services;

                 v. For advertising and promotion purposes; and

                vi. For any purposes required by law or regulation.

b)      Acson Malaysia may collect, use, disclose and share amongst ourselves, Acson Malaysia’s agents and respective service providers, the participant’s personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in Acson Malaysia’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on our websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the campaign or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation.

c)      Other than those individuals and entities mentioned above, or as informed from time to time, your personal data will not be revealed by Acson Malaysia to any other outsides, unless Acson Malaysia has required your permission to do so.

 

7. General Terms and Conditions

7.1   Acson Malaysia shall not be liable to any persons in the CNY 2019 Campaign for any injuries, losses and/or damage in respect of, in connection with and/or arising from the campaign.

7.2   Acson Malaysia reserves the right to video, photography, record and/or publish any participant’s images and details for the purpose relating to the publicity of the campaign without having to pay any fee or compensation to the participants.

7.3   Acson Malaysia’s decision of the campaign is final and no appeals or correspondence will be entertained. The participant shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by Acson Malaysia.

7.4   In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or other promotional materials or communications relating to the CNY 2021 Campaign, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
